SoOnCon 2013 is divided into two events at two locations. Driving directions are on the Location page.

FRIDAY NOVEMBER 1ST @ 7:00pm – BBQ AT KWARTZLAB

SoOnCon attendees are invited to a BBQ at Kwartzlab Makerspace. Hang out, chat with makers and folks from other hackerspaces. Lightning talks are planned later in the evening:

SoOnCon 2013 is running talks and workshops in three separate classrooms, as well as the Hacker’s Haven area for all-day events such as the Badge Hacking workshop, The Maker’s Market by Cobblestone Gallery, and a special Badge Sound Circuit Hacking workshop starting at 11:15am.

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 2ND @ 9:00pm – NIGHT\SHIFT

After SoOnCon, Kwartzlab will be setting up a pop-up maker space at the Public Utilities Building space, a block away from THEMUSEUM. as a part of NIGHT\SHIFT, an all-night art festival in Downtown Kitchener. SoOnCon attendees are invited to stay after the main event and continue hacking on their badges, or use the space as a base to explore the rest of NIGHT\SHIFT.
